The RespiBit team
RespiBit believes in the potential of digital health to provide healthy living with asthma in the 21st century. Overall, RespiBit’s mission is to provide health and safety for those with chronic and infectious respiratory diseases considering the challenges ahead in terms of air pollution and climate change.
RespiBit aims at revolutionizing the monitoring and management of respiratory diseases in the 21st century by taking advantage of rapid developments in sensor technologies and micro-manufacturing as well as the unique RespiBit software algorithms. The long-term vision is to become the dominating brand in monitoring and management of respiratory diseases as well as monitoring personal exposure in open and closed (e.g., workplaces, buildings) environmental conditions.
Christodoulos Spagakas

Christodoulos is an experienced entrepreneur, strategist, and project manager with a proven track record of achieving revenue and profit growth objectives in dynamic environments. With a background as a senior executive at Schneider Electric and a passion for startup ecosystems, he co-founded Building Automation Intelligence (BAI), an energy efficiency company. Following BAI's success, Christodoulos embarked on a new venture, co-founding RespiBit with Aleck Alexopoulos. RespiBit is a digital health SME specializing in personalized respiratory disease management, offering AsthmaFit—a comprehensive system integrating wearable devices and advanced algorithms for asthma monitoring.

Aleck Alexopoulos is a seasoned research scientist in Chemical & Biomedical Engineering and an entrepreneurial visionary. Renowned for his ability to dissect complex problems, Aleck thrives on generating innovative solutions by focusing on core issues. Transitioning seamlessly from academia to entrepreneurship, he founded ErgoSensePro, offering personalized training and rehabilitation solutions rooted in cutting-edge movement theory. Co-founding RespiBit, Aleck spearheads the development of groundbreaking asthma monitoring technology capable of predicting attacks and real-time detection of tuberculosis mycobacterium in the air.
