Vision and Mission

RespiBit aims at revolutionizing the monitoring and management of respiratory diseases in the 21st century by taking advantage of rapid developments in sensor technologies and micro-manufacturing as well as the unique RespiBit software algorithms. The long-term vision is to become the dominating brand in monitoring and management of respiratory diseases as well as monitoring personal exposure in open and closed (e.g., workplaces, buildings) environmental conditions.

Our Story

AsthmaFit was born as a concept when a nephew of ours experienced an intense asthmatic episode and had to be rushed to the hospital emergency room.
We realized that this is actually a common problem.
It became clear that a predictive and monitoring tools would of great benefit to avoid such incidents and improve respiratory health and disease management in the long term.
Our backgrounds in entrepreneurship, electronics, and Engineering provided the necessary tools to solve the problem and bring RespiBit to life.

AsthmaFit is easy to use. All the user needs to do is wear the device and enter symptom report (five brief entries) on the App. AsthmaFit software analytics does all the work.

Technology

The AsthmaFit system consists of a wearable device, an App and advanced analytic and predictive software. The AsthmaFit wearable device consists of an innovative array of sensors for environmental pollutants that can trigger an asthma attack. The AsthmaFit software integrates exposures trajectories of multiple users to generate environmental trigger maps and then extrapolates from a sequence of exposure maps over several days to predict for the next day. The AsthmaFit system includes an App which is used to report the daily symptoms in a very simple and user-friendly way. The software performs multi-variate analysis to correlate between exposure and symptoms for a population of individuals and provide helpful projections for the user.
